The new S5 has reduced drag by 65 grams while increasing the surface area of the frame while reducing overall weight. The deeper frame cutouts maximize the shapes permitted by the new UCI regulations. At the same time, the iconic V-stem was further refined and a new fork was developed to simplify the entire cockpit.
Additionally, a groundbreaking new wheel concept was developed in collaboration with Reserve to increase stability and reduce drag in turbulent conditions.
