Das Bearing Top Cap Kit 997 enthält 7-mm- und 22-mm-Steuersatzdeckel inklusive Frontabdeckung. Der BC-997 ermöglicht den Ein- oder Ausbau des Steuersatzdeckels ohne Trennung der Bremsleitungen. Für den Wechsel zwischen 7 mm und 22 mm muss der Vorbau vom Gabelschaft entfernt werden; ggf. ist ein vorübergehender Ausbau der Bremssättel nötig, um die Leitungen zu entlasten.
Bei Kontakt zwischen BC-997 und Rahmen: Unterseite fetten und passende Mikro-Passscheiben HS-865 einsetzen.

Bearing Top Cap Kit 997 – 7 mm & 22 mm with Front CoverThe BC-997 headset top cap kit includes 7 mm and 22 mm top caps with front cover. Allows installation or removal of the headset top cap without disconnecting brake hoses. Switching between 7 mm and 22 mm requires removing the stem from the steerer tube; temporary brake caliper removal may be necessary to relieve hose tension.
If the BC-997 contacts the frame, grease the underside and install the required HS-865 micro spacers.
